You’re invited to join us Sunday, July 26 @ 5 PM at Southside Baptist Church gym, which is right past Veteran’s Park on Hwy 119 in Alabaster. The ECCS Chapel team and others will lead in worship and we’ll have a short teaching/discussion time. Then we’ll all head to Starbucks afterwards!

Thanks to everyone who came to our first gathering. I had a blast and I hope all of you did. The band did a great job leading us in worship. And to think they only had 3-5 days notice! Wow! I hope we all continue to consider what we discussed with the story of the rich young ruler in Mark 10 and what it takes to fully follow Jesus. I don’t know about you, but I want to follow Jesus with reckless abandon and I want to be that guy who is a fool for God! I don’t care what anyone thinks–I’m following JC!

a beginning

I’m not sure how often or what exactly our worship gatherings will look like, only that we’re beginning to gather! Anyone and everyone who would like to worship the King is invited to join us. I do know that there will be music and singing. Right now, several of the ECCS chapel team have agreed to lead us in worship. I know that there will be a brief teaching time. It will be focused on what God is teaching me or the speaker for that evening. I know that it will be a blast and that you should come! We’re gathering at 5 PM at the gym behind Southside Baptist Church in Alabaster. The pastor there has been gracious enough to allow us to use it. Click here for a map & directions.
